Join Theatre Action Project for exciting workshops and performances all day as part of KidCiti, an interactive village just for young people where creativity, community and collaboration rule!
The village will be open from 2 pm to 8 pm on Saturday, April 7th for youth ages 4-15. Highlights include: Capoeira dancing, hip-hop and break dance shows and classes, African Folktale-telling, bookmaking workshops, face painting, West African Dance, drumming workshops and much, much more!
All participating youth go home with a goody bag full of great surprises! Theatre Action Project (TAP) is a local nonprofit educational theatre company that brings interactive theatre arts to over 13,000 Central Texas youth every year. TAP's mission is to use theatre and the creative arts as tools to ignite community dialogue, self-discovery and social change. |
